Price Piltzer Yawitz, together with the leading Preservation Architects of Tel Aviv, Bar-Or/Gazit, developed a ground breaking approach to the development of the large social housing projects that dot the city.  Our proposal upgrades the preservation standard of these 80 year old progressive projects, freeing up substantial air rights that can fund their meticulous restoration while bringing them up to current standards of accessibility and comfort.  This strategy will begin with the Kiryat Meir neighborhood in central Tel Aviv, and may be continued with other social housing estates from the 1930s.
